Truth

Something often defined in ways to justify our actions. Frequently withheld, obscured or wielded like a weapon. Why do we even think, we can take Truth which is eternal and unshakeable, and with intense emotion, self-delusion or manipulation, bend it to provide cover for our questionable behavior?

At our deepest core, we realize the foolishness of our claims. Though we may attempt to tweak and alter Truth in life, in reality, we have no power to do so. Truth does not change. Truth does not worry about feelings, fads or inclusivity. Truth has always existed in and of itself, and does not rely on our interpretation, judgment, or perception. Truth is greater than ourselves, unaffected by place or time.
