Civil Obedience

Societies are established when a common purpose is strong enough to unite a group of people tightly enough they are willing to set aside their individual desires and needs. Yet, for a country to thrive, it must have rules at diverse levels: individual relationships, extended families, communities, towns, states, and nation.

Since the fall, mankind has been asking the question “Who makes the rules?” For Christians who acknowledge there is one GOD, who is King of kings and Lord of lords, the “right” answer is “Jesus.”
