Making the Right Decision When You Are Out of Time

Making the Right Decision When You Are Out of Time

What do you do when you are Out of Time?

Today is one of those days for me. The deadline to complete my weekly blog is full upon me.

I have a decision to make. Options under consideration include:

  1. Skip it this week. Perhaps no one will notice anyway.
  2. Do a quick shorter blog so I honor my commitment to provide a blog each week.
  3. Pause everything else and complete the blog I started. This would take about 2 hours out of my day with other competing deadlines.

I can have peace with any of these options. The decision before me needs to be made right now. If I procrastinate in making this decision, I most likely am choosing option #1.

I chose option #2 this time. I suppose this will happen to me again. It happened before and I chose option #3. I am curious what I will choose next time.

This is a good example of how our decisions should not be a checklist of RIGHT answers. Decisions can vary depending on the circumstances of today.

My encouragement to you today is process your decisions each day before God. Then leave your decision(s) with God and move on to your next God assignment. No need to look back.

Keep your peace with God.
